Industrial Pipefitter Company

Varlowe Industrial Services has an expert team of nationwide on-site pipefitters. We cover everything from minor pipe changes to complete pipework installations.

Our trained pipefitters can assemble, fabricate and maintain mechanical piping systems.

The pipe fabrication team can pre-fabricate all pipework at our workshop. Because of this, our pipefitters can keep site disturbance low.

Our transport team will ensure the pipework arrives safely and on time.

What Are Pipefitters?

Pipefitters are skilled engineers who work with mechanical piping systems.

They can:

Pipefitters plan and test piping layouts to form the correct configuration. The engineers will use various skills such as cutting, threading, grooving, bending, and welding.

The piping systems can involve:

The engineers can also install manual, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric valves in pipes to control the flow.

We have a more in depth look into a Pipe-fitters role in our “What Is a Pipe Fitter” blog post.

Pipework Installation Contractors

Our Contracts Managers will set out the processes in the initial plans. They will also carry out a full risk assessment. We do this to make sure a safe working practice is maintained.

Once on-site, our pipefitters will familiarise themselves with the workplace. They will do any initial prep work to secure the area for health and safety. Once the checks are completed, our pipefitter team can start putting the piping into position and ready for welding.

Choosing the correct welding method is crucial to the project and initial prep work. Our pipefitters will use Arc, Mig Or Tig welding methods.

The team will be under the guidance of our skilled contract managers. Our specialist managers have over 25 years of hands-on experience. As a result, they can provide a wealth of knowledge to get the job done.

After installation is complete, our engineers do visual checks for defects. We also perform several tests for any leaks against high-pressure settings.

The pipefitters will ensure the system will run smoothly until the next maintenance.

We are a multi-accredited company and follow the latest codes and practices. We are ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 45001:2018, and Safe Contractor approved.
