CNC Turning Service

Here at Varlowe Industrial Services, we provide state-of-the-art CNC Turning services.

Our team of highly experienced CNC machinists are skilled in all forms of CNC Turning. They train to get the most out of the machines and create the precise parts required by our clients.

We have several Turning machines, from manual lathes to CNC operated Turning Centres. CNC operated Turning Centres offer a host of benefits over manual machinery. They provide high-torque, high-speed turning for fast, accurate and aggressive metal removal capabilities.

We use Turning for large production runs with short lead times. Ideal for customers who need a quick turnaround at a competitive cost.

What Is CNC Turning?

Turning is a highly skilled method of creating custom parts and components. It uses a lathe or turning centre powered by a computer. The software that controls the lathe ensures exact details with easy repeatability.

During the process, the stock gets placed into a chuck and rotated at high speed. A cutting or boring tool moves on a linear path and held against the material. As a result, it reduces the diameter of the stock to leave a smooth cylindrical shape.

CNC Turning can create components to the most accurate and rigorous of designs. The process leaves an outstanding surface finish that sometimes requires no post-processing.

Advanced turning centres can also perform a variety of milling and drilling operations. CNC turning is not as good as conserving the material as milling. However, it is quicker, more affordable and better for complex design options.
