Last month, we was contacted by a young Cycle Speedway Rider by the name of Haydn Rowley. He was in pursuit of a local sponsor to help fund new equipment which will help in the World Championships, so we stepped up. We have been recognised for this in the local news, in the form of Wednesfield Magazine, here is what they wrote:
Wednesfield based Varlowe Industrial Services have stepped forward to help Wednesfield Aces Cycle Speedway rider, Haydn Rowley.
With the World Championships in the UK and the main event held in Ashmore Park, Haydn wanted to boost his chances of a further title but needed new equipment. Using his initiative Haydn decided to contact local businesses and Steve Varden was quick to offer his support.
Managing Director, Steve Varden agreed to supply Haydn with a complete bike supplied by Archie Wilkinson with spare wheels and tyres. Steve has extended his generosity sponsoring the club with an advertising banner. Steve also has the Varlowe branding on his bike produced by Manifestation Designs in Willenhall who also sponsored the Aces with an advertising banner.

Haydn has made his way through the Semi Final of his qualifier which took place in Poole. 16 points and 3 heat wins helped Team GB cruise to a fantastic win..Go Haydn!!
