In 2017, members of the Varlowe team took on one of the world's most iconic challenges — trekking to Everest Base Camp in Nepal to raise money for charity.
It's not your average team-building exercise. Base Camp sits at over 5,300 metres above sea level, and getting there means days of trekking through some of the most demanding terrain on the planet. But our team committed, trained, and made it happen.
The trek raised valuable funds for charity, but it also showed something about the kind of people who work at Varlowe. This is a team that doesn't shy away from a challenge — whether that's a complex engineering project or a mountain in the Himalayas.
We're proud of everyone who took part. It's one of those experiences that stays with you, and it says a lot about the spirit that runs through this business.
