We were proud to back the Light Up Wednesfield campaign — a community-driven project to bring new Christmas lights to Wednesfield high street.
The campaign was led by Hands On Wednesfield, a local community group who set out to raise £4,000 through crowdfunding to make it happen. The response from the local community was brilliant, smashing the target by over a thousand pounds.
The result was a bigger, better Christmas lights switch-on event — the kind of thing that brings a community together. And that's exactly why we got involved.
